Grades K-1

The K-1 classroom at Marathon Christian Academy is an exciting and engaging class where children are in a literacy-rich environment.  Children are learning their letters and numbers, history, science, art, music, and Spanish.  The curriculum is a blend of Abeka, ACE, Bob Jones, and SOS.  Children enjoy many field trips and hands-on activities throughout the year.  In these early years, a strong foundation of reading, writing and math is emphasized.  This is a classroom where each child is loved and valued.  Children are taught about God's love for them with weekly scripture verse memory and Bible stories.  Our goal is that each child would develop Godly character.  Children are taught to respect and care for one another and to recall scripture verses to help in everyday situations.
